Orkney has many beaches, rock marks and structures
avaliable for the shore angler, a real alternative for when the
weather is too rough to fish offshore.
This interactive map allows you to click on each
of the marks to retrieve information on each of the marks. This
information includes likely catches, terrain and productive techniques.
Fishing marks are highlighted in red. Highlighted in blue are good
bait collection points. Whilst we have labelled 2 of the best lugworm
areas, there are other areas detailed in these guides for alternative
baits such as razorfish, Mackerel and mussel.
